All right, it’s back, the first episode of the Own It Audio Podcast of the New Year and the fourth overall. My goal is to really expand my podcast this year and showcase people with CF or stories about people with CF who really go above and beyond the call of duty. Today you’ll meet Julia Rae. She is 24, a college senior and holds the title of Miss Philadelphia 2015. I knew this job would somehow lead me to some pretty cool stuff, but I don’t think I ever thought I’d be talking to the pageant winner from a major American city. Julia might be one of the most impressive people with CF that I have ever met, and I hope you think so too. She’s planning on running the Rutgers Half Marathon for Team Boomer this year with aspirations of running the NYC marathon at some point.
