It’s flu shot szn! Time to get out there and do your civic duty (read: don’t be a public health menace).
The flu is much more than some sneezing and coughing. It could mean time in the hospital, time away from work and time away from your friends.
The flu shot reaches maximum effectiveness if everyone around you gets one. We call it herd immunity…
well…. not that kind of herd
It spreads through coughing and sneezing and touching things…
In fact, there are some people amongst us who can’t get the flu shot because they may be immunosuppressed, recovering from a transplant or even if they do get the flu shot, they may be in the ‘at risk population.’ It’s up to us t keep them safe
